1. Seek First to Understand (Habit 5)

Diagnosis must precede prescription. Before proposing a solution, clear your mind and truly step into the client's world. Listen more than you talk.

Move beyond compromise. Max-Win-Win seeks to expand the pie. How can we make the client's gain exponentially larger than their expectation while securing our own long-term value?

3. Synergize (Habit 6)

This is the catalyst for Max-Win-Win. Invite the client to the "whiteboard" to co-create the solution. When you integrate diverse perspectives, you find a "Third Alternative" better than what anyone could have achieved alone.
